I met some cool people and did some cool stuff. Here’s one of the coolest things that happened to me. Thank you Benjamin!
We had a grand time. We saw her parents in Washington, my parents in Georgia, and my son, his wife and my grandson in Alabama. We took quite a few pictures so they will be showing up here from time to time. Here’s a bird picture Melisa took in Georgia. I think it’s a thrush. What do you think?
On the way back we stopped in New Orleans. I told the lady on my phone to find me a cheap hotel in the French Quarter. She came back with one for Continue reading “Melisa and I took a trip around the country last year.”
If the snow and ice will ever go away. If I will ever get the “backend” stuff on this site to work. If I need another cocktail. 😉 If you look closely at the picture, you will see the cure for Continue reading “Mostly wondering right now…”
Keeta convinced me that the snow was a reason to go outside, not a reason to stay inside. I’ll have to admit that fun was had by all.

That’s all I’m going to say about it. I’m going to pretend I’m somewhere else doing something else. I mean this hummingbird even has his mouth open. How many times to you see that?
That being said. It’s still snowing and there’s ice mixed in.
My thoughts are more like a travel blog. Go do cool things, take pictures, review destinations, and maybe even sell some of my pictures. So today I’m venturing out on the deck to take some pictures. Sad thing is I seem to be seeing things in the icicles. Hopefully you will see them too. 🙂
You may notice I’m a little bugged by the weather. The roads are icy, the flatlanders are out, and it’s 23 degrees at 3:17 pm. I love snow and everything but I freeze my butt off every time I go outside. If you’re reading this on Facebook you need to click the link to my blog to see the rest of the pictures. Cabin fever got the best of us so we decided to go out. This stuff just isn’t going anywhere.
We got down to single digit temps last night. There is snow and ice everywhere. It’s almost noon and we have made it all the way to 27 degrees. 30 is the expected high. We have plenty of firewood but I still digress to daydreaming about warmer times. So here are some pictures of hummingbirds that I took from my back deck last summer.
